About Persian Bazaar
About Persian Bazaar
Beginning
Persian Bazaar was the outcome of a need felt in the Persian speaking community living in Ottawa and Gatineau. This need was for easy, low-cost and immediate access to a range of food products and consumer goods that have a strong place in the food culture and lifestyle of Persians, Afghan, Tajik and other nationalities with a common culture; especially those products whose Persian aroma and flavor cannot be replicated anywhere else. Fresh Sangak bread is one of those flavors that, since its appearance in this city, seems like food cannot be eaten without its presence on our daily tables. Bringing this warm taste more easily to the warm homes of our compatriots and fellow speakers was the first mission of Persian Bazaar.
Now that this mission was about to be accomplished, the void of many other products and warm flavors that we loved but were either not easy to access, not cheap, or not available when we needed them was felt. So we thought that if we joined hands and made an effort, we could add helping solve this challenge facing families to the main mission of Persian Bazaar.
We are very committed to the fact that this effort of ours will truly untie the knot of the daily worries of life in immigration and exile for our compatriots, fellow speakers, and sympathizers, and will be effective in providing them with the timely provision of some of their daily needs.

Vision
We consider Persian Bazaar to be a place where culture and the necessities of today's life meet. A culture that has rich elements hidden in its heart and has steel foundations that can be a cornerstone for promoting health in our daily lives. The diversity, combinations, and recommendations that exist in the preparation of various Persian foods and are rooted in our historical texts, stem from the attention of ancient Persian scientists to this category, just as the basis of traditional Persian medicine is in "what and how to eat." There is no doubt that the rich elements of this culture can be beneficial for all nations and peoples of all lands.
Persian Bazaar sees in its vision a day when it not only plays a significant role in meeting the daily needs of families of its own culture in this part of the world, but also brings a gift from the ancient Persian lands to promote the health of well-meaning and well-mannered people of other cultures and nations living in this land.
